Time to stay in.

It's 1030 Saturday morning and I've already been up for 2 and a half hours. Ugh...

I've got my first Tech Writing assignment due on Monday. I've had a while to write it, but with everything else that has been going on, it was tough to concentrate. So today and tomorrow will be my focussed writing and editing days. Feels good actually. Wrote the first draft this morn. :)

Yesterday, was a good end to the week. Got to see a couple people I haven't seen in a while; happily shared my news of leaving my job; and I hit the gym.

All caught up on my weekly routine, it was arms day (biceps and triceps):

Warmup: 5 minutes on the elliptical.

Bicep dumbbell curls:
2 warmup sets of 10 @ 10 lbs
1 set of 10 @ 12.5
1 set of 10 @ 15
2 sets of 5 @ 20

Hammer curls:
2 warmup sets of 10 @ 12.5 lbs
2 sets of 10 @ 15

Barbell curl:
2 sets of 10 @ bar + 10 lbs
2 sets of 8 @ bar + 15

Rope pushdowns:
2 warmup sets of 10 @ 45 lbs
2 sets of 10 @ 60
1 set of 6 @ 70

Seated dip (machine):
2 warmup sets of 10 @ 60 lbs
2 sets of 10 @ 75
2 sets of 10 @ 90

Dummbell kickbacks:
2 sets of 10 @ 7.5 lbs
2 sets of 10 @ 10
1 set of 10 @ 12.5

I have to say I am especially proud of what I did with triceps today. 70 lbs on the pushdown and 90 on the dips: these were the heaviest I've gone so far. :)
