Oops, has it been 5 days since I wrote my last update? Where did the days go? And what did I do??
Oh yeah, I was doing homework. Yes, this past weekend I got back my mark for my first Tech Writing assignment. It wasn't horrible, but not at all what I expected. It was humbling. I thought I was a better writer! A learning experience, right? And motivation to improve! So I spent the whole weekend at my computer working on assignment two. The cool thing about this course and the timing of it is that I get to practice at work too. Now that I have only three weeks left, I have to prep for my successor. To do that, I have to write a manual. Now to put what I've learned to work!
On top of all that, I did get to the gym. I did! AAANNND... I hit my personal bests on every leg exercise I did! Soooooo excited to feel that I am getting stronger!
Here it is:
Warmup: 4 sets of 20 legs extensions, 2 sets of 20 lying leg curls
Leg press:
2 warmup sets of 10 @ 110 lbs
1 set of 8 @ 170
1 set of 6 @ 190
1 set of 6 @ 197.5
1 set of 5 @ 210!!!
Hack squat:
2 warmup sets of 10 @ 80
1 set of 8 @ 90
1 set of 6 @ 100
1 set of 5 @ 110
Front squats (smith machine):
2 warmup sets of 10 @ 10
2 sets of 6 @ 30
1 set of 6 @ 35
Seated leg curl:
1 warmup set of 10 @ 45 lbs (oops, pin in the wrong weight )
1 warmup set of 10 @ 60
1 set of 10 @ 90
1 set of 6 @ 95
1 set of 6 @ 105
Deadlift:
2 warmup sets of 10 @ bar+ 20 lbs
2 sets of 10 @ bar+ 40
2 set of 6 @ bar+ 50
Lunges:
3 laps of 9 with 15 lb dumbbells
