Almost two weeks have gone by again! Time flies when you are having fun?? Indeed!
Work has been great. I keep going on and on about the positivity and encouragement I get there, but I can't stop! Seriously, it is just so different from what I have been used to these past few years. And to know that someone actually believes in me...
Like, I think I mentioned before, and not only on Facebook, my boss is totally behind me working for him. So much so that he has offered to pay for my entire personal training certificate program and allow me to do my practicum there, helping me out the whole way. And he said just recently, that in a year I could fill the spot of the female trainer they need at the gym. He has only known me three weeks and still he has that much faith in me. That makes me happy. :)
It's like without me paying attention, the universe just kinda stepped in and laid out a path for me. I have to thank my sister too! Without her suggestion to do a competition, I wouldn't be where I am right now. Thanks, Athena!!! Love you :)
So, on the competition front, we have decided that I will not do the April show but instead aim for the November one which is here in New Westminster. That way Athena can be there, I don't have to travel, and I have lots of time to prep. As well, since I am in the middle of these huge changes in my life: the job, the move, etc, it's best I get settled first before I take more on.
Not going to slack though. I did miss a workout this week, but I made up for it the next day. Here is how it looked with the heighest weights listed:
Warmup: 5 minutes rowing machine
Pullup (assisted): 40 lbs SUPERSET Overhead press: 20 lbs
One arm row: 35 lbs SUPERSET Lateral raise: 12.5 lbs
Seated row: 100 lbs SUPERSET Mountain climbers: 24 X 3 sets
I've never really superset before and it was good. My heart was pumping the whole time. I liked it!
