Firstly, I really like my new place. It is smaller and further away from work; I am not a 'city girl' anymore, but I like it. I can actually sleep in past 6 with no garbage and delivery trucks peeping down the alleyway. And I don't have the annoying convenience of a 24 hour cafe next door to run to when I crave a mocha. Though I do miss it when it is already half made before I make it to the counter. (kinda miss my Bread Garden).
What else? Work has been going great. I am still in no way regretting my decision of leaving my last job and career. Though, oddly, when asked what my life's purpose was today (yes, a deep question and conversation to come up at a fitness club) it occured to me that I can't seem to escape the world of instructing I fell into 9 years ago. Teaching, training: I really think that I may be someone who is just meant to help others in some way. Ironic no! Those of you who know me are probably laughing right now!! But like my sis always says, "Take my advice, I'm not using it." lol
So far 2010 has been pretty good to me, and it seems to be going well for those around me too. I am happy to hear some of my girls talking positively about change and the future; I am excited about my sister's next pro show. I am enjoying the new people I am meeting and how just their being is such a great influence on my life.
Oh my... 1230 am on a Tuesday night and I am spewing sappy sentiment. Some of you are now saying, "What the hell happened to Pandora?? Where is she??" haha Yeah, I didn't get my workout in today so more estrogen running through and out of me right now than testosterone! That will change tomorrow. Early morning with weights and cardio.
No more screwing around. My routine for work with the commute and such is set so I gotta get back to what I have promised to set out to do. Nine months is a long time away, maybe, but as it is already February 16, it seems that time flies way too fast.
