So I found out this morning that in Russia today is a national holiday. How come we don't do that here?? :(
Anyways, I thought I would post up my workout from yesterday to show how things are going. I am feeling much better; the cold isn't completely gone as the cough still lingers, but I feel in better spirits and have more energy.
At home circuit:
5 minutes of Kettlebell Get-Ups w/ 20lb bell
4 sets: Racked Reverse Lunge (20lb bell) SS 30 seconds Jumping Jacks
4 sets: One Arm Row (20lb bell) SS 30 seconds Butt Kicks
4 sets: Flye (8lb dbs) SS 30 seconds Ab kicks
4 x Plank @ 30 seconds
These are great little workouts. And I enjoy being able to do them in the warmth of my own apartment, alone. But I will not gain any size doing them. I want to improve my cardio and endurance which is why I have now included the jumping and such, but I also want more muscle. That's hard to reconcile.
I guess I just have to think about what means more. On that note, tonight I think I will do a run and/or bike.
