And so it has begun...

It is now Thursday, October 4. And it is my first day off from training this week. I certainly needed it.

The week didn't start off exactly as I had planned. I meant to begin big with a Back session, but as Murphy's Law would have it I tweaked my lower back Sunday night cleaning the fridge. (Note to self: Don't clean the fridge." So instead I moved my workouts around and did Arms first, Chest next day and Back yesterday. I put a lot into them and am feeling them today. I have slept well, let's just say. :)

On Monday I also started my new diet. I am eating a bit more; it's more protein, but about the same carbs. It's been pretty good so far. Not difficult at all, though I've had to spend some on meat. Perhaps I should start up a Meat Fund. Hmmm... who would actually pay me to eat??

It is going to be a long road. Yes, it will cost money, and time. And it means I will have to put this, me, before other things. But I know the benefits and reward. And I already feel there's a tiny bounce in my step.
